Botox® is very effective for fighting facial wrinkles. For some, however, the three to six months of results aren’t long enough. GFX offers a new option for treating the glabella frown lines (the vertical lines that can form between the eyebrows).

What is GFX?

Unlike relaxing the muscle that causes wrinkles like Botox®, GFX uses bipolar radiofrequency ablation to target the nerves associated with facial expression wrinkling. A combination of technologies, some of which have been used for more than a decade in lifesaving cardiology treatments, allows physicians to precisely locate an area for treatment, and then apply a specific dose of bipolar radiofrequency energy to a portion of the targeted area.

How long do the results last?

Results can last about a year or longer.
