Lauren Sandow, MPAS, PA-C

Lauren Sandow, MPAS, PA-C, earned her Master’s in Physician Assistants Studies from The University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, graduating with honors. She attended The University of Texas at Austin for undergraduate studies, earning a Bachelor of Business Administration and Pre-Health Professions Certificate.

Her passion for dermatology began prior to PA school while working as a medical assistant. She values every patient interaction and aims to create an environment where patients feel comfortable to ask questions and discuss concerns. She is committed to continuing education and is enrolled in the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants’ Diplomate Fellowship program. Her knowledge and expertise continually grow while working alongside her attending, Dr. Laura Buford. Her interests include both medical and cosmetic dermatology.

She is a member of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants, Texas Academy of Physician Assistants, and the Central Texas Physician Assistant Society.

Lauren grew up in Houston and is so happy to call Austin her home. In her free time, she loves spending time outdoors, cycling, trying new restaurants, and traveling.
