Product Overview
Stratamed is a specialized film-forming wound dressing created to protect compromised skin and support recovery immediately following surgery, injury, or an aesthetic procedure. Unlike conventional scar treatments that are intended only for fully closed skin, Stratamed can be applied directly to open wounds, sutured incisions, and recently treated areas, allowing wound and scar care to begin during the earliest stages of healing.
Once applied, the transparent gel dries into a thin, flexible layer that conforms closely to the treatment area. This breathable film helps maintain an optimal moist healing environment while shielding vulnerable skin from outside irritants and contamination. Because it is clear and adaptable, Stratamed is especially useful on visible, curved, mobile, or difficult-to-dress areas such as the face, neck, joints, and hair-bearing skin.
Stratamed can help calm common post-procedure symptoms, including itching, burning, redness, and discomfort. By keeping the healing area protected and hydrated, it also supports smoother recovery and may help minimize the development of raised, thickened, or discolored scars. The gentle, odorless formula contains no alcohol, parabens, steroids, or added fragrance and may be used alone or beneath a secondary dressing.

How To Use
Make sure the affected area is clean, then gently remove as much excess fluid or moisture as possible. Apply a very thin layer of Stratamed directly over the wound or treated skin. Do not rub or massage the gel into the area.
When using Stratamed without a secondary dressing, allow approximately 5 to 6 minutes for the film to dry. If the product takes longer to dry, too much may have been applied. Carefully remove the excess with clean gauze or tissue and allow the remaining layer to set.
Apply once daily, twice daily on exposed areas, or as instructed by your healthcare provider. Reapply after washing or whenever the protective film is no longer present.
When using beneath a secondary dressing, apply a thin layer and cover immediately without waiting for the gel to dry. Reapply each time the dressing is changed or the treatment area is examined. Once dry, Stratamed may be covered with sunscreen, cosmetics, pressure garments, or other recommended coverings.
