Alexa Fedele, MSN, APRN, FNP-C,

Alexa Fedele, MSN, APRN, FNP-C, is a board-certified Nurse Practitioner specializing in medical and cosmetic dermatology. Born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio, Alexa relocated to Austin in 2019. She comes from a family deeply rooted in medicine, including her uncle, a board-certified plastic surgeon with a private practice in Cleveland—an early influence that shaped her appreciation for aesthetics, surgical outcomes, and refined, natural-looking results.

She began her undergraduate education at the University of Cincinnati and earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from The Christ College of Nursing and Health Sciences in Cincinnati, Ohio. Following graduation, Alexa launched her nursing career on the Cardiovascular and Stroke Unit at Dell Seton Medical Center at The University of Texas, a Level I trauma center in downtown Austin. This experience established a strong clinical foundation and fostered a meticulous, detail-oriented approach to patient care.

Guided by a longstanding passion for dermatology and aesthetics, Alexa earned her Master of Science in Nursing from The University of Texas at Arlington and became a Family Nurse Practitioner. She joined Westlake Dermatology in 2021, where she initially worked alongside Daniel Friedmann, MD, and later trained extensively under Heidi Prather, MD.

Through her work at Westlake Dermatology, Alexa has developed advanced expertise in medical dermatology, injectables, laser treatments, and comprehensive skincare. She works closely with board-certified dermatologists to deliver customized treatment plans grounded in evidence-based dermatologic care and modern aesthetic techniques, with a focus on subtle enhancement, balance, and individualized, natural-looking results.
