Kelly Clemmer, RN BSN

Kelly Clemmer graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas at Austin. She started her nursing career at St. David’s South Austin Medical Center where she worked for two years in the ICU followed by four years as part of the Vascular Access Team. During her time there she was active in hospital wide education on the appropriate vascular access devices, care and maintenance of long-term access devices, and implementation of central line maintenance protocols. Additionally, she worked on collecting and reporting central line associated infection data as well as updating policies and practices for preventing central line infections.

Prior to pursuing nursing Kelly was a licensed cosmetologist and studied sculpture and design at The School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Kelly works with Dr. Cameron Craven’s plastic surgery team assisting in the OR and post-surgical recovery care at our Westlake clinic.
