Maria Leszczynska, MD

Maria Leszczynska, MD is a Board Eligible Dermatologist and Board Certified Pediatrician at Westlake Dermatology, dedicated to providing empathetic, evidence-based care to patients of all ages. With dual training in pediatrics and dermatology, she brings a comprehensive, patient-centered approach to skin health.

Originally from Poland, Dr. Leszczynska is fluent in Polish and conversational in Spanish. She is passionate about inclusive, affirming care and strives to create a welcoming environment for all individuals and families.
Dr. Leszczynska earned her undergraduate degrees in Biology and Spanish and her medical degree from the University of Florida. She completed her pediatrics residency at Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital and her dermatology residency at Baylor Scott & White Medical Center in Temple, Texas, where she served as Chief Resident in her final year.

During her training, she and her co-residents won first place in the Dermoscopy Bowl at the 2024 American Academy of Dermatology national conference, a nationwide competition among dermatology residency programs.

Dr. Leszczynska offers general, pediatric, surgical and cosmetic dermatology services, including Botox and laser treatments, with a focus on safe and effective results tailored to individual patient goals.
She is also an active contributor to the academic dermatology community, with 19 peer-reviewed publications and numerous non–peer reviewed articles, poster presentations, and oral presentations at national meetings.
