Radhika Shah, MD

Radhika Shah, MD is a Board-Certified Dermatologist specializing in general medical, pediatric, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology. She has special interests in complex medical dermatology and the psychological comorbidities of skin disease, ensuring her patients receive care that is both medically thorough and empathetic.

A native Texan, Dr. Shah grew up in Missouri City, just southwest of Houston. She graduated magna cum laude from Houston Baptist University with a degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology and went on to earn a master’s degree in Medical Sciences from the University of North Texas Health Science Center in Fort Worth, Texas. She received her medical degree from Texas A&M University College of Medicine, followed by an internship in internal medicine at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas. Dr. Shah then completed her dermatology residency at Baylor Scott & White in Temple, Texas, where she served as Chief Resident in her final year.

Dr. Shah has a longstanding passion for writing. During medical school, she served as Chairwoman of The Synapse, a publication that allowed her to blend her love of storytelling with her commitment to highlighting the human side of medicine. She has authored multiple chapters in notable dermatologic textbooks as well as peer-reviewed articles in high impact journals, including the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology.

Her clinical expertise is complemented by a dedication to building meaningful patient relationships, tailoring each treatment plan to the individual’s needs, goals, and overall well-being.

Dr. Shah currently serves as a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, Texas Dermatological Society, and American Medical Association. Outside of medicine, she enjoys running, baking, traveling, and exploring new coffee shops with her husband. She is a trained Indian classical dancer in the art form of Bharatanatyam, having completed her Arangetram in 2013.
