Lip Filler Clinical Trial

Seeking volunteers to evaluate a soft-tissue filler for the lips and around the mouth

We are currently enrolling for a clinical research study evaluating the safety and efficacy of an investigational injectable soft-tissue filler for augmentation of the lips and lines around the mouth.

You may qualify to participate in this voluntary research study if you:

  • Are healthy female or male of at least 22 years of age
  • Have thin upper and lower lips and desire augmentation of lip volume
  • Have not had any soft-tissue filler treatment of the lips or around the mouth within at least the past 12 months (and have never had injections of fat or permanent fillers in this area)
  • Have not had any botulinum toxin of the lower face within the past 6 months
  • Have not had any laser or skin tightening treatments around the mouth within the past 6 months
  • Have not had an allergic response to prior filler treatment
Your participation in the study could last up to 19 months and consist of up to 14 office visits. You will receive investigational study medication at no cost and compensation for time and travel may be available. The study will be conducted at the Westlake location of Westlake Dermatology (8825 Bee Caves Rd, Austin, TX) by Drs. Heidi Prather and Daniel Friedmann, both board-certified dermatologists.
