Yelena Dokic, MD

Board Certified Dermatologist and Fellowship-Trained Mohs Surgeon
Yelena Dokic, MD is a Board-Certified Dermatologist and fellowship-trained Mohs Surgeon at Westlake Dermatology. She practices surgical, cosmetic, and medical dermatology, with particular expertise in skin cancer treatment, Mohs surgery, cutaneous reconstruction, and procedural dermatology. She also has advanced training in cosmetic treatments, including neuromodulators, fillers, and laser procedures.
Dr. Dokic completed fellowship training in Mohs Micrographic Surgery and Procedural Dermatology at Baylor College of Medicine in the Texas Medical Center in Houston. She also completed her dermatology residency at Baylor College of Medicine, where she was elected as the Chief Resident in her final year. She earned her medical degree from Baylor College of Medicine and was selected for Alpha Omega Alpha, the nation’s premier medical honor society. During medical school, she was elected President of the Dermatology Interest Group and received the Dean’s Distinction in Service Learning.
In addition to her clinical training, Dr. Dokic has authored numerous scientific articles and book chapters and has presented at leading conferences in dermatology, skin cancer surgery, and cosmetic dermatology. Her research has received multiple awards for academic excellence and scholarly achievement.
Dr. Dokic earned her undergraduate degree in Biochemistry with high honors from The University of Texas at Austin through the Health Science Scholars Honors Program after graduating with top academic distinction from Lake Travis High School. Having grown up in Austin, Texas, she is honored to care for patients in her hometown.
Dr. Dokic is known for her meticulous technique, calm demeanor, and thoughtful patient-centered care. She is passionate about helping patients achieve healthy, beautiful skin. Dr. Dokic is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, the American College of Mohs Surgery, the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, the Texas Dermatological Society, and the Texas Medical Association.
