Delfina Bur, MD

Delfina Bur, MD is a dermatologist specializing in medical, pediatric, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology. She is committed to providing compassionate, evidence-based care and enjoys building lasting relationships with patients of all ages.

Born in Argentina, Dr. Bur was raised internationally across Latin America and the Middle East before moving to the United States for college. She earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Virginia, graduating on the Dean’s List with a Distinguished Major in Neuroscience and Psychology, before heading to Texas for medical school. She received her MD from McGovern Medical School at UT Health Houston, where she was awarded a merit scholarship and elected to the Gold Humanism Honor Society for her leadership and commitment to patient care.

Dr. Bur completed both her internship and dermatology residency at Dell Medical School at UT Austin, serving as Cosmetic Chief Resident before being selected as Chief Resident her senior year. She was also the resident representative for the Texas Dermatological Society and served on her program’s Academic Evaluation Committee.

Beyond her clinical work, Dr. Bur has authored multiple peer-reviewed publications and presented at regional and national dermatology meetings. She was selected for the prestigious ASLMS Preceptorship Scholarship, completing advanced training in laser and energy-based technologies under nationally recognized experts in Boston. Dr. Bur is excited to be a part of the Westlake family and is dedicated to developing personalized treatment plans and fostering long-term relationships with every patient she sees.
