Elizabeth Andrews, MD

Dr. Elizabeth Andrews was born and raised in Houston, Texas and attended Southern Methodist University, where she graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Advertising. She completed her pre-medical training at Georgetown University before earning her medical degree from Texas A&M College of Medicine, where she was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society in 2019.

Dr. Andrews completed her intern year at New York-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital, where she was honored with the distinction of Intern of the Year. She then completed a two-year dermatopharmacology fellowship at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, serving as a sub-investigator on clinical trials for conditions including alopecia areata, scarring alopecias, eczema, psoriasis, and vitiligo. Dr. Andrews went on to complete her dermatology residency at Mount Sinai in New York City, where she served as Cosmetic Chief during her senior year.

Dr. Andrews has a clinical passion for both inflammatory skin conditions and cosmetic dermatology. She believes in a personalized approach to patient care, with an emphasis on preventive skincare and the understanding that skin health is a reflection of overall wellness. She is committed to enhancing her patients’ natural beauty and to creating individualized treatment plans that meet each patient’s unique needs.

Dr. Andrews is a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society.

Dr. Andrews is thrilled to be back home in Houston. Outside of the office, she stays busy chasing after her two children and enjoys cooking, Pilates, working out, hitting the slopes, and live music. Her warm, positive personality and genuine enthusiasm for patient care make her a natural fit for the Westlake Dermatology family.
