Jade Cahill, MPAS, PA-C, earned her Master’s in Physician Assistant Studies from one of the top programs in the country, Baylor College of Medicine, where she graduated with honors. For her undergraduate studies, she attended Texas A&M University, graduating Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Allied Health.

Jade’s passion for dermatology began prior to PA school as a medical assistant at Westlake Dermatology. It was during this period that she learned the value of creating a comfortable environment, connecting with each patient, and building trust. Now, as a PA, Jade is committed to enhancing patient outcomes by integrating these foundational values with her advanced medical knowledge. She aims to understand each patient and address their specific needs through a patient-centered and detailed approach. Working alongside her attending, Dr. Laura Buford, her expertise in both medical and cosmetic dermatology continues to grow.

Board-certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and licensed by the Texas Medical Board, Jade is actively involved in professional organizations, including the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants, Texas Academy of Physician Assistants, and American Academy of Physician Assistants.

Jade was born and raised in Texas and is happy to call Austin home. In her free time, you’ll find her enjoying a new book, traveling with her husband, walking or cuddling with her two fur babies, and seeking creative outlets through activities like painting and interior design.
