Madalyn Nguyen, DO

Dr. Madalyn Nguyen is a Board-Certified Dermatologist who specializes in general medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology, with an added expertise of skincare. She enjoys treating all things hair, skin, and nails, including acne, rashes, skin cancer, and more. Dr. Nguyen believes in the individuality of each person and tailors her recommendations and care to their specific needs. She takes a well-rounded approach to facial balancing and cosmetic contouring to achieve natural results and to help her patients achieve their personal goals.

Dr. Nguyen speaks English, Vietnamese, and Spanish, and is a native Texan from Houston. She graduated from The University of Texas at Austin McCombs School of Business with Magna Cum Laude and went on to complete her medical training at The University of North Texas Health Science Center – Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine where she earned her medical degree with Honors. She subsequently completed her internship at Hackensack Meridian Health, during which time she lived in New York City, and her dermatology residency training at Samaritan Health Services in Oregon where she served as Chief Resident.

Dr. Nguyen has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications in highly regarded journals such as the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology, Cutis, and SKIN: The Journal of Cutaneous Medicine. Her expertise is also frequently referenced in the press media such as NBC and USA Today.

In her free time, Dr. Nguyen enjoys quality time with her loved ones, eating, traveling, and spending time outdoors. She also enjoys creating content online where she can be found making reliable skin expertise relatable and accessible under the handle @DrMadalyn.
