Khloé Kardashian’s Live Chin Up Campaign Launches

Written by WD Staff, Skin Care Specialists on March 7, 2016 One Comment

Reality TV personality Khloé Kardashian recently partnered with Allergan to kick off the new “Live Chin Up” campaign, a movement designed to encourage people to not let the things that bother them get in their way.

Khloé was on hand to lead a panel of dermatology experts as they discussed several options to treat a double chin, including Kybella, the only non-surgical, injectable treatment that is FDA approved for getting rid of submental fullness (excess chin fat).

Kybella uses deoxycholic acid, a naturally occurring molecule in the body, to systematically breakdown and absorb excess fat. When injected under the chin Kybella causes the rapid destruction and absorption of fat cells while also preventing future fat accumulation. This removes excess fat under the chin, leaving a smooth jawline without the necessary recovery time of other treatments like liposuction or neck lift surgery.

It’s pretty cool when a celebrity uses a specific procedure – because there’s a lot of photos of them, you get a really good look at the before and after. This seems like a good option for people needing a chin up.
