Winner to Receive Free Tattoo Removal with State-of-the-Art PicoSure Laser

Austin, TX—July 30, 2013 – Westlake Dermatology & Cosmetic Surgery, a leading provider of medical dermatology, cosmetic procedures and plastic surgery in Central Texas, announced today it is holding a Worst Tattoo in Austin Facebook Contest and the winner will receive a free package of tattoo removal treatments using the PicoSure laser-valued at up to $4,000. Westlake Dermatology is the first in Texas, and one of the first 15 in the world to offer the new PicoSure™ laser treatment for tattoo removal.  PicoSure is a breakthrough in laser technology and provides clearance of tattoos in 4 to 6 treatments, versus typically 12 to 20 treatments with traditional technologies.

Participants can enter the contest by visiting www.austinsworsttattoo.com. Smartphone users can simply access the page through their mobile device and upload a picture with their phone. Entrants must be Facebook users and “like” the Westlake Dermatology page in order to submit a photo.  People can vote by visiting the same website and clicking “vote” by their favorite image.  The photo with the most votes will win the treatment package.  The contest runs through August 31, 2013.

“I have had many patients over my years of practicing in Austin ask about tattoo removal services.  PicoSure technology is truly revolutionary and people are surprised to find how easy it is to remove even stubborn colors such as greens and blues.” said Dr. Gregory Nikolaidis, president of Westlake Dermatology & Cosmetic Surgery.  “We decided to introduce the new treatment to Austin in a fun way with the contest.”
